The Quarterdeck team had a tired tank in their flagship that customers had stopped looking at. We rebuilt the hardscape over a single weekend, swapped the livestock, and three weeks later inherited the other two tanks in the group. Bar owners notice when a tank starts pulling a crowd again — and when the customers in front of it start ordering one more drink.

A bar tank has one job: hold attention long enough for someone to order another round. The Quarterdeck flagship display had stopped doing it — faded décor, melted plants, a composition nobody had touched in years.
We rescaped it across a single Saturday with the bar open: hardscape rebuilt around a new focal point, substrate refreshed, livestock swapped, lighting retuned to the room rather than the catalog.
Three weeks later we picked up the other two tanks in the group. All three have been on a scheduled cleaning cadence since 2018.
